Question

New to PC's freshly built gaming pc not working properly

So I have decided to build a gaming computer from scratch and have noticed that everything has been running horribly. I just bought a bunch of games including black flag, skyrim, darksiders, and a few other big games. EVERY one of these games starts up fine then once I get to actually playing the game, the cut scenes, gameplay and movement are slower than imaginable and lag uncontrollably. Not sure what to do being new and all but am under a lot of stress seeing as i have above the recommended specs for playing ALL these games.

And no story or much about the OS, driver and app installs. Given the lack of detail why not make this trouble for the machine's supplier?

Do you have it plugged to a good video card, or to onboard video plug on the motherboard?

In reply to: New to PC's freshly built gaming pc not working properly

I apologize for the lack of information in my previous post. Here is the list of hardware my pc is using and talking to many friends about this build I should be able to run the games I play at medium if not max settings. Starting to wonder if my monitor is too big and the games can't compute to the big monitor?
Motherboard: Ultra Durable z97-hd3
Cpu: I5-4430 3.00 ghz
Ram: 8 gig
OS: 64 bit windows 8.1
Graphics Card: R9 270x gaming 4 gig
Montior: Lg ultra wide 2560x1080 29in
Any suggestions, help, or comments are greatly appreciated. Again sorry for lack of information in my first post
