From HP: 2211-Memory not configured correctly for
proper MEBx execution.
Cause? DIMM1 is not installed
Supposed fix: Make sure there is a memory module in the
black DIMM1 socket and that it is properly
seated

So i got a new to me desktop pc. My guess is its about 6 years old. It is a HP Pavillion DC8200 with an Intel pentium 2.4 DualCore processor and 2 GB RAM. It also has a100 Gig HDD.
When the computer boots i get the error 2211 Memory not configured correctly.
Also - this thing is SLOW. Running windows 8.1. the only programs installed are Windows office and avast free. CPU usage is always 100% even when no programs are open.
I dont need a high performace computer - it is mostly for work, general internet browsing and perhaps the odd online game.
My budget is fairly tight, and im not super tech literate.
Any suggestions/help would be great!
