New to Direct Tv HD. Need direction.

I have just changed from Dish (standard)to Directv and have HR20-700 DVR hooked up to a Misubishi HD 48" Rear CRT via HDMI/DVI. My 1st question is how to get POP set up so that I can watch two channels (DVR has two tuners and two inputs). Second I also have a Toshiba DVD recorder with HDMI and the mitsubishi only has one DVI/hdmi input? Suggestions? Lastly I also have a Dircetv HD11-500 which is hooked up to 3 tv's via splitter. Is their a way to extended the remote signal so that I can change channels from another room? PS. I may have accidently posted this on another question. I'm sorry.
