New to computing: Microsoft ID /Gateway 733 PC

Feb 25, 2005 11:15PM PST

I received a computer from another individual which
has her name on anything I create. How do I change
it to my name? (I realize on new computers, one
registers the ID with Microsoft.)

Name on creations?

What kind of "creations" are you talking about here?

Normally "creations" are a product of an application and not of the OS. Most applications that identify user (such as MS Office perhaps) have their own configurations in which user is specified.

Could you provide some "examples" of these named creations?
