Question

New TechTracker issue

Dec 24, 2011 6:42AM PST

Having installed the new version, I then wanted to update some software. When I clicked on "download now" it asked what application I wanted to use. Rather confused, I said Firefox, which is my default browser. It then proceeded to loop opening new tabs in Firefox and I was forced to shut it down and also shut down TechTracker.

I have two questions. First, how do I get it to forget that I ever said Firefox in the first place? (Uninstalling and reinstalling didn't fix this, nor did cleaning out the registry or telling it to remove my computer.) Second, what application should I have asked it to use?

I didn't have this sort of issue with the previous version - it just worked.
