New tablet owners...beware

Dec 26, 2014 12:31AM PST

If you're now the owner or user of a new tablet/pad and it doesn't work or has issues that any "vendor provided instructions" don't resolve, RETURN it.

You may have visited the support website and got the detailed instructions or FAQ listing and did all you can do. The problem persists or returns or never leaves, period. In tablets there hardly anything more you can do, it's probably a true h/w fault or s/w glitch, basically that "you" the user have tried everything, return it before the warranty period and/or grace period is over for Xmas type gifts.

I exclude any job provided tablet or where paperwork is provided, "READ THE FINE PRINT". Understand, once a time period has passed jumping through hoops maybe required, you have been warned. Alas, a true cheap tablet/pad isn't worth the heartache it may cause if kept too long.
