and set the proper refresh rate manually. There should be something similar to vim.
First, many thanks for taking the time to read about my problem! I appreciate any and all help!
I own a Macbook pro: Graphic specs:
Chipset Model: GeForce 8600M GT
PCIe Lane Width: x16
VRAM (Total): 256 MB
Vendor: NVIDIA (0x10de)
Device ID: 0x0407
Revision ID: 0x00a1
ROM Revision: 3212
Resolution: 1440 x 900
Pixel Depth: 32-Bit Color (ARGB8888)
Main Display: Yes
Here's my issue...I bought an LG Flatron W2361V 23" HD LCD monitor, but when I try and run it with my Mac (it runs fine) buuuut the resolution is wacky! I've gone into display and changed it, the best I can get right now is 1680 x 1050, but It looks BEST with 1920 x 1080. The Problem? When I set it to that I get a CLEAR good looking picture, but then the screen randomly starts flashing black, like its refreshing or something, and it does this continuously. It is ONLY on this resolution setting and none of the others.
Anyone know why?
Do I have a faulty monitor?
Or do I need HD cables?
Or am I crazy?
