thillers100,
Welcome to the forum.
Based on the timeline, I would definitely recommend immediately going and registering your product online here:
http://www.samsung.com/us/mysamsung/product/myssMyProductRegist2.do
Doing so will give you an additional 3 months warranty, and there are a few days left in the month - we might be able to get that covered under warranty. Once you do that, I would call 800-SAMSUNG and request a service ticket number and set up a service for your television.
Keep me posted.

I have a new Samsung LN32A550op3FXZA. I have had it since December.
Recently, it started locking up intermittently on high definition channels. The set will stop responding to the remote for a few seconds, and then power off and power back on automatically. Sometimes it will do this multiple times, and remain locked when it powers back up each time. It seems to stop after about 15 minutes, and then its fine for a while. Then it all starts again.
It does have what I believe to be the latest firm ware, and is not in a confined space for heat disipation.
It is connected directly to a cable jack in my house without a cable set top box.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
