New Samsung LE40B530P TV switching to analogue

I bought a brand new Samsung LE40B530P TV yesterday from Currys however when I type in a number to switch the channel it automatically switches to analogue. Why is it doing this and what can I do to stop it?

I don't want to take it back to Currys.

I'm not familiar with the broadcasting formats in different regions. Have you tried to auto-tune the channels? If so, are you able to get HD programming that way?

I'm likely not going to be able to help out too much on this issue, but a good salesperson at the store you purchased it from should also be able to assist in a solution.
