Resolved Question

New Samsung Blu-Ray (BD-D5100)

Nov 28, 2011 5:52AM PST

Just purchased my first ever Blu-Ray player. Watched our first Blu Ray the other day (Horrible Bosses). Picture was stunning...
but did notice right off it had the "soap opera effect" I had read about. Also saw this on my tv...but learned how to "turn that off" (Auto motion plus).

Is there a way to prevent the soap opera effect on Samsung blu-ray players? Or do all Blu-rays have this look to them?

Thank you

Yes! Thanks so much...just like you said, I needed to turn the auto motion plus OFF on my blu ray input.
