If it's a modem/router combination, your best bet is to disable the firewall to see if you're able to get content streaming that way. If that doesn't work, I would recommend getting in contact with your ADSL service provider and perform troubleshooting. Without only a modem, it's difficult to determine if the problem resides in the the player or the router.
We just bought a Samsung BD-P3600 Blu Ray player that is supposed to stream Netflix. I am using it over a ADSL wireless network through Cincinnati Bell. I can access Pandora and use it, but not Netflix or YouTube. WHen you select that service it "tries to load" for a second or so then just goes to blue screen and locks up to where I have to shut down the player. Have never been able to get any further, so I can't even get the registration code.
I did the firmware update and changed out my modem/router to a new Westell 7500. No luck.
With the Blockbuster feature it lets you search and see, but if you go to play a trailer it locks up just like with NetFlix.
What am I missing?
