New Question Re: AT&T iPhone or Verizon LG Voyager

Mar 11, 2008 12:51AM PDT

I am ready to get a new phone and am looking at these. I have read so many different discussions about the pros and cons of the iPhone and the Voyager. I know there are lovers and haters of both. HOWEVER, for my usage, I have two specifics which are highly important.

1) I know getting audio/video podcasts is easy on the iPhone...but is it easy (even possible) on the LG Voyager? I would be replacing my Nano (which I love) and I use it mainly for podcasts (audio and video).
2) TV Shows - What are the differences in TV capability? I would like to be able to watch past episodes of TV shows (with or without commercials). Neither one supports flash, so i know I can't just go to NBC and watch episodes. Do I have any options other than buying seasons through iTunes (iPhone) or subscribing to Mobile TV (Voyager)?

The reason this is such a hard decision is I can get a Voyager now. It's $100 cheaper, has expandable memory, and I like Verizon in my area better than AT&T. However, the battery life on the Voyager is making me pause, as I am always listening to my podcasts! So much that if I can't get podcasts on a Voyager, I would simply not get it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
