Resolved Question

New printer making mark on paper

Aug 7, 2013 6:22AM PDT

I bought a brother HL-2135W laser printer about 2 weeks ago.

It was fine till today.

Now, when I print a sheet, the paper is coming out with marks on -- not ink -- the marks look like rollers or something in the printer that grips the paper -- like tramlines down the paper.

There are 3 lines running along the length of the sheet -- one close to each side; another off-center.

The lines are visible on both sides of the paper.

Any idea how to fix this?

At 2 weeks many stores will accept a return. You may try another and if it fails then return it for another model.
