for a good clean? Canned air and new thermal paste.

Hi guys,
Had my trusty desktop for 4 and a half years now and it's starting to play up, mainly switching itself off after gaming for 30-45 minutes. The game in question is WOW so hardly cutting edge graphics etc. but it seems to be too much for my card now.
The system I have at the moment is running XP on a
AMD 7750 Dual Core 2.7 ghz
3328 Mb Ram
Direct x 9.0c
Asus 6670 card with 1024 mb
Currently only using a 14 inch monitor at 1280x1024
I really only use the PC for surfing, some word processing and the previously mentioned World of Warcraft so I don't need a cutting edge machine really but would be nice to have a little extra grunt on the gaming front just in case.
Now to say I'm limited in my choices would be an understatement! I've come into some Argos vouchers and so am looking at either of these two systems;
CPU and Memory:
•Intel Core i5 quad core Core i5-3330.
•Processor speed 2.9GHz.
•8GB DDR3 RAM.
Hard drive:
•1024GB SATA hard drive.
DVD optical drives:
•24x DVD-RW speed ,24x DVD+RW speed.
Graphics:
•Dedicated graphics.
•On-board graphics memory.
•NVIDIA GeForce GTX650 graphics card with 1000MB memory.
Interfaces and connectivity:
•6 USB ports.
•Ethernet port.
•0 FireWire port.
•1 HDMI port.
•Wired keyboard and mouse.
Sound:
•6 channel sound system.
Operating system & software:
•Microsoft Windows 7 Premium.
Or this one ,
CPU and Memory:
•Intel Core i7 Intel Core i7-3770.
•Processor speed 3.4GHz.
•16GB DDR3 RAM.
Hard drive:
•2048GB SATA hard drive.
DVD optical drives:
•22x CD-ROM speed ,8x DVD-ROM speed.
Graphics:
•Dedicated graphics.
•On-board graphics memory.
•Intel NVidia GT 430 graphics card with 1000MB memory.
Interfaces and connectivity:
•6 USB ports.
•Ethernet port.
•Wired keyboard and mouse.
Sound:
•8 channel sound system.
Operating system & software:
•Microsoft Windows 8.
There's about £50.00 difference in price between the two but that's not a problem.
Which of these two systems is better and will I notice any improvement on my current system assuming it was running ok!
The cheaper system has the GTX 650 card which I believe is better than the GT 430 on the more expensive PC but that has an i7 and 16 gb of ram whereas the cheaper system is an i5 with 8 gb of ram.
Thanks for any advice
