Question

"New" Outlook?

Fired up my computer this morning to check my e-mail @ hotmail only to find a completely new Outlook page with a bunch of advertising. After trying to access my mail, the page is now blank. Tried system restore but still get a blank Outlook page. Tried settings in Google to reset the home page to no avail. Finally went to my old Yahoo site & have hotmail mail coming to it. I am PISSED off at Outlook. Have had hotmail for over 20 years and they do this - no warning, asking permission, etc. Anyone know how to dump this new program & switch back?.

Answer
I use IMAP in Thunderbird for Yahoo

email and to avoid the adverts. Makes it a lot easier. Don't know if hotmail does IMAP, but probably will allow an email client to access it other than by webmail in browser.
