New Outlook calendar not showing holidays

I am using Outlook 2010, I have a calendar with the US holidays installed, they show up. However, when I create a new calendar, it does not show any of the holidays. If I select only the new calendar, and attempt to install the holidays, it just duplicates them in the orignal calendar; which I have to go and delete. Is there any way to add the holidays to any new calendars? Thanks.
