I also, I finally read an article (which I will try to find) which shows that anthropogenic climate change is far more due to the cutting down of trees world wide than it is to the burning of fossil fuels, or more accurately that we wouldn't have the gross problems we have if we had retained the level of forestation we had around 1930. Certainly emissions are a problem and should be reduced as much as possible, but reforestation would do much more to head off disaster than just doing nothing.
