Make sure you have the latest Radeon video driver files and the AMD Catalyst software installed on it.
I just installed a new motherboard and AMD chip for my computer, and am now unable to play 3D intensive games.
If play Sims3, there's no issue, and I'm watching videos at the same time.
If I play games like Portal2, Skyrim, and GTA V it pixilates the screen and sometimes crashes the comp.

Hardware:
Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 rev 4.1 (NEW)
AMD FX 9590 (NEW)
ATI Radeon HD 5870 crossfire cards (Newest driver, 14.501.1003.0)
16gb OCZ DDR3 1133 RAM
Crucial 500GB SSD
If it makes a difference, I use to have an Intel chip before the update.
I need suggestions please.
Thanks,
Kurt
