New menu on Samsung TV-s

Why i cant set sound type on my new ES6500 plasma form tools menu? My old C650 had a sound options menu under tools button. Now i have to surf the menu 5 minutes before i get to sound type settings (PCM/DTS/DD) watching my MKV files over DLNA. How can u make such error? Does samsung engineers use some other brand TV-s?
Best regards,

Re: New menu on Samsung TV-s

Hi nonameest,

I'm not sure what's confusing about this. It should be menu > sound, and then you get a bunch of settings to pick from. So I'm not sure what the problem is. What are you trying to do that you can't go?

Re: New menu on Samsung TV-s

I want to switch DTS/DD/PCM settings from tools button-> sound settings menu like i did on my older c650 lcd.
I CAN change them atm, but its far too hidden in the menu. I want to switch it fast and easy like it used to be.

ES6500: Menu->Down->Ok->Down->Down->Down->OK->Down->Ok->select sound-->Menu->Menu
C650: Tools->Sound settings->Select sound->tools.
Please fix it.

This is exactly why folk look at the Harmony remotes.

I got Harmony remote, with LCD. Useless thing. Slow, to much surfing in the menus etc.

I have one too. Fast

Why? I assigned a macro to that button.
