Games will "run".

There are plenty of reviews about the GPU with the 950 but the gamers I know might be unhappy.

What are you playing on now?

A laptop.

It's not the worst but it's no where near very good.

It's a acer.. lol
amd quad core processor A10 7300 with turbo core technology up to 3.20ghz
And Radeon graphics
8gb of ddr3 l memory

Sorry about the triple reply couldn't delete the other replies on my phone for some reason

The dedicated 950 should beat an AMD A10.

So you think it'll do what I need ?
Mar 28, 2017 10:35AM PDT

I used to be deep into computers but that was several years ago. Things have drastically changed from when I put them together. I'm looking at this pre build because a family member works for staples and It's my best option of payment considering my funds. I'm just looking for something that'll run what I want, I know high graphics in the games I'm looking to play aren't really used. I just want a smooth fps rate and not have to worry if my next game purchase will run or not.

The 950 is OK
Mar 28, 2017 10:38AM PDT

But today for "high graphics" and smooth I want to be in the old 960, new 1050 or better. The 950 "runs" but is not what gamers I know want.

Sure it will do and later you can change out the 950 to a 1050 or better.

So an upgrade on the graphics
Mar 28, 2017 11:24AM PDT

A little ways down the road or something, as long as it'll run what I want for the time being. I have no problem later purchansing the uprgrading the card. Thank you for you input.

This my best bet ?

The 1060
Mar 28, 2017 12:18PM PDT

Is well accepted as a good gamer at most settings, most games at 1080p play.

Mar 28, 2017 11:10AM PDT

But Bob used to have one that compared gaming comps and for $849 I think I remember seeing other comps with at least those specs for less $$$$

I can.

The reason I'm looking at the staples site, is because a family member works there and can get me a fairly good price on it. As the fund are the issue.
