the default email client on a Mac with OS X, is called Mail.
The operating system, OS X 10.5.1 is known as Leopard.
As you may already know, there is no version of Outlook for OS X but there is an email client that is quite close to it. This is called Entourage and is part of the MS Office for Mac.
There is a program, not free, that will convert Outlook files into a format suitable for Mail. You will find it Here. I think that is a buyer beware situation though. Not all reports of that software are good.
Another, convoluted, way of doing it is to export the pst files from outlook on the pc, into Eudora on the pc and then into eudora on the mac. Hey, I said it was convoluted.!
Google searches have not turned up an easy way to do this.
Maybe someone has the answer.

Hi all,
I receive emails from cnet on tips and other stuff. I clicked on a link on one of them that I received maybe 2 weeks ago and that led me to a guide on converting Outlook 2003 pst files to mac mail client that comes with OS X 10.5.1. called Leopard. I have unfortunately deleted that particular email, using web mail it has gone from the server. It was very good and easy, it said to convert it in Outlook to a specific file type and then copy it to mac and install it. I wished I remembered the specifics but i don't as I opened it at work. After looking on Google and cnet i cant find a guide that is up to date. Can anyone please tell where that guide is or how to do it, using the same method or an alternative one. i have noticed on forums people keep mentioning Entourage for mac. Is that because its better to use and if so where do I get it from.
Your help will be appreciated.
