New "smart" chargers in the market

Oct 22, 2018 3:42AM PDT

Hi guys,
I have recently noticed some ads from a new startup called Lightr. They claim that they have created a new smart charger with bluetooth features and all that. It also has magnets for connection and is kinda small and comfortable. Their site is lightr.store. Just wanted to ask these questions.

1. Is it possible to harm the phone with these magnets?
2. How can this kind of small charger be durable?
3. Are there any other smaller powerbanks?

The problem is that it isn't yet in the market. It's not even yet on indiegogo. It's just been announced, and all you can do at the moment is add your email address to their mailing list, if you're interested.

All I can say at the moment is that they are quite active with advertising.

thanks for the details, i also saw the ads. Do you know anything about the magnets? Are those safe for the phone? If I ask them, they would definitely say yes.

That if there was an issue you would have folk yelping about it in droves. There's nothing there.

-> I googled that product and it's not available. Don't fall for hyped products.
