by dadtried / February 26, 2007 10:38 PM PST

I want to buy a laptop with the minimum specs: - 2.0 Ghz core 2 duo processor T7200
- 1 or 2 GB RAM
- 14.1" WXGA TB screen.
- excellent speakers.
I've seen alot of choices(HP,Toshiba,Lenovo,DELL) which made me uncertain about my choice.I need some advice on which to choose.THX in advance.

Sadly. Those speakers.

I've yet to hear any laptop that I would say "excellent." If I want good sound I plug in my headset or externals.

With Vista, I'm giving the nod to 2GB RAM.

Try HP

I think they will have exactly what you are looking for. HP Laptops are very reliable and they work hard, they are well built and will get the job done. The best part is you get the better bang for your buck. HP laptops are very well priced and they complement this price with great features. I recommend you look in to the HP Pavilion dv2000t if you are looking for the intel core 2 duo. Good Luck!

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
