Since it's a PC, it can be infected with all the usual things. Just last few weeks we've seen a rash of infections that were there right from the get go. That is, the PC builder had downloaded a cracked OS and it was pre-infected.

Hello
I'm posting about my weird problem (potentially) with PC and girlfriend somewhat xP
So few days ago, we were watching a movie on PC with my gf, somewhere in the middle I went to WC, she paused movie and after about 3 minutes when I came back, she told me that there was something weird with PC and that it "was making dialling like sound (three signals) and after that emitted some small green light on the left side".
After that PC was operating absolutely normally like always, no problems.
I was like ***, is that even possible? I heard about some beeps on older mobos when there were some problems in PC (with RAM for example)but that occurs in POST screen, and I never heard about any sound given by PC while working PLUS some green light on top of that...
My question is - is something like that even possible on PC? I think she may have heard something other (outside the window/ from neighbors living upper floor) and just misplaced that sound came from PC actually.
More bothering would be that green flash, my mobo is ASROCK H81M-ITX and I don't think there are even any LED's on it.
MOBO photos http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/H81M-ITX/index.pl.asp
Also my GPU is PALIT GTX 750 OC 1gb GDDR5
and case Cooler Master Elite 110
It really drives me crazy, I don't think this is even possible but then again she was serious when talking about this (still is).
Can some PC hardware experts look at MOBO/ CASE photos and confirm is there any LED at all that could give this green light?
If not then my theory would be just perfect - there are two green lights on both sides of PC, one from speaker and second from x360 gamepad reciever, she might have looked at this or even HDD led (which is RED on my case) on PC and messed up opinion a bit.

You can check specs manufacturer site and there is nothing on it about this.
Also I scanned PC for malware recently and nothing detected at all, PC have 3 months and this situation occured (potentially) once, even when I was not in room to confirm is that sound were from PC or not.
Also how would be my PC able to emit any dialling sound without internal speaker or even not any program to make calls? (no skype etc. user).
And I see LEDs on the Ethernet port. I didn't note that since I waited to give you time to see that.
It's possible that drives can emit sounds like dialing. http://forums.unknownworlds.com/discussion/131509/anyone-get-weird-noises-from-their-hard-drive for example.

I was aware of green led on the ethernet port, it is lighted constanlty and given that my PC stands in cabinet it is not visible to anyone.
My HDD was tested with HDtune and no problems at all, it gives slight sound while reading/writing but it is VERY slight sound as this disk is 3 months old so far.
The only rational things that come to my mind is that my girlfriend must have mistaken some other source sound to be from PC and there are 2 green lights that flash constantly (speakers turned on and x360 reciever) and 1 red light flashing while HDD works, she might have just mistaken this as NO ONE had something like that over the whole internet as I was looking.
Also posted on asrock forums about my model of mobo, we will see if they confirm are there any leds here or not.
