It is best to remove all software and drivers for the old printer both in control panel add and remove programs and devise manager before installing the new HP printer. It makes it much easier.
I just bought a new HP inkjet F380 AIO printer. I have an Epson Stylus 500 for about 10 years, and it just does not seem to be doing the job any more. Besides, I had to throw away my scanner so up grading seemed like a good idea. My question is: before I install the new printer should I get rid of the epson (uninstall) so there will be no chance of the drives and files getting crossed? It is a paralell and the HP is USB.
Thanks for the info. The dinosaur......
