New HP a7 crashes w/ wireless internet + video games.

After installing a wireless netgear pci card, my computer would crash if I tried playing a video game while having the wireless connection enabled. Also, if I did not disable the connection before turning the computer off, the computer would not boot the next time. I would have to pull the plug and it would boot the 2nd time.

I'm not sure why the computer had a hard time doing both. The computer came with Norton's Anti-virus/Firewall package and I believe the firewall was interferring with the 2 firewalls on the Netgear router. Anyone else had this problem??
