New Here, need advice please!

Nov 2, 2007 1:54AM PDT

In the past I've had broadband service from AOL. I would like to get broadband again with the idea of setting up a wireless router in my home. With the AOL service this was nothing but a headache, (please don't give me tips on how to do it, I've given up already). So my question is, which is the better choice: Earthlink DSL or Verizon (not FIOS, isn't available in my area yet). Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I had and my neighbor had...

Verizon. Support was and will always be abysmal so don't bother trying other DSL offers. At least Verizon gave us the usual DSL modem+wifi router.

My neighbor has moved and I changed to the cable "tri fecta." But the verizon offer is still not a bad deal.
