New Gaming PC Build

by s9yk3r / December 4, 2017 6:23 AM PST

Hi all! I'd like to buy a brand new computer, but I'm not sure about the components... There are several problems and I'm not sure of what to choose.

I'm thinking about this build:

Liquid Cooling: Master Seidon 240v
Ram: 16GB DDR4 HyperX FURY 2133mhz
Thermal Grease: Arctic mx-4
CPU: i7 8700k OR Ryzen 1700
Motherboard: ASRock z370 Killer SLI 1151 (for 8700k. probably a Gigabyte AB350 for the ryzen)

The main problem is that right now the i7 8700k is VERY expensive in my country (430/450+€) and it doesn't worth it. It should be at least at 350-380 in my opinion. But I also know that with a Ryzen 1700 (not x) I would have something with less performances. What should I do? Wait for i7's price to go lower or go for a 1700? What about other components?

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
