I'll supply a link on that later.
You are in a period where the new models are just now shipping out so use this next article to find the updated models.
I read http://reviews.cnet.com/8301-3121_7-57578886-220/the-best-windows-8-gaming-laptops/ and used that to find Lenovo's refresh with the Haswell to come close to what you asked for at the price. AGAIN!!! This article showed me the current model which I used to track down the next and newer model. For those that can't sleuth for this it's at http://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-IdeaPad-Y510p-15-6-Inch-Laptop/dp/B00CRXZSYQ/ or the "Lenovo IdeaPad Y510p"
About RAM, it appears that we still want to max it out. Read http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/ssd-ram-endurance,3475.html to see reasons why. Again, some won't read between the lines so I'll spell it out. Yes, it was faster.
Hi guys I'm new here and first of all Hello!
I'm a bit confused in what to do right now. I live in London and my desktop pc is is Italy so with my macbook late 2007 basically I can't do pretty much nothing.
So it's time to buy a new laptop since i don't have enough space to buy a desktop pc.
I'm not sure if now it's a good time to change it or if it's better to wait around xmas so let me know what you think about.
About the laptop I'm a web developer so I think I have to use it for work with some adobe suite programs like photoshop illustrator and indesign.
Plus I want to play
My budget is around £1k maybe i can reach 1.2k as maximum.
I want a 15.6 screen and possible a 4th gen intel processor, all the rest is up to you.
I think 8GB ram is enough but I'm not sure about an SDD.
So can you please advise me with something good?
I can buy it online but need to be shipped in London!
