Better Ram...
Good PSU
Case?
Operating System
Hard Drive
Floppy/Media-Card Reader
Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2ZS Gamer Edition
Proabably have speakers, keyboard, mouse. SO that's it. I also wouldn't get the 4000+ becasue the 3700+ offers a better value.

everything is good and you need a case. antec p180 or sonata II. i think you will be happy with the 7800GTX. you can always sell it if reviews find the ati to be more powerful. hdd, look at seagate or a raptor.

I heard DFI had poor quality, try Asus instead.

instead of gettin1 1gb, go for 2 gb ram.

and defiently get a SATA hard drive. Western Digtal Raptor would be nice.

Another suggestion

Get a BTX case, the next generation of computer cases, with a window on side. Put some neon in it too.

(NT) (NT) also on btx....there are very little btx mobos

there are no BTX cases out there
Aug 1, 2005 1:24AM PDT

besides coolermaster and another company, i forgot, who have 1 case, full tower, that converts into BTX. there really are no BTX cases out there, oh, except for Aopen and i think Chemning who have a mirco BTX case, but yes, for the motherboards, only intel currently but other mobo man. have plans to make BTX amd mobos. it will be awhile until we see these things. i even emailed antec to see when they'd start selling BTX cases and they said that they are currently under development. i cant wait, because i'll probably move my mobo from the gateway case to an antec or other regualar BTX case.

where did u hear dfi had poor quality

also 1 gb is more than enough.

also raptors are a waste of money and dont offer much performance difference. go for a bigger sata hard drive instead maybe 250gb.
