i found a folder in 2 places on my laptop today named: PACE Anti-Piracy.
I was wondering what it was, there was nothing inside the folder except for more empty folders. I am not pirating anything and do not run torrent or P2P software on my laptop. I have scanned with Norton and Spybot, nothing. Found in: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data
and
C:\Documents and Settings\(My Username)\Application Data

Considering that you have previously admitted that your Windows OS was pirated, I wonder if this is somehow related?

that you have now purchased a legal copy of Windows XP and installed it, I am surprised that you are still having so many problems.
