New Laptop

Hi Hello Greetings,
Need a new laptop for college. Torn between 2. Budget is smaller <<<$650. Need a light 1080p laptop:
ASUS Zenbook UX305FA-USM1($700) or Acer Aspire V 13 V3-372T-5051($600)
ASUS: Battery life and extremely light and slim for factor
Acer Aspire V13: Better 6th Gen i5 performance
Performance or better battery+ slim/lightweight?
Which juan??

Hit notebookcheck to see real battery times however I'm no fan of battery use as the batteries are still 300 cycle things that wear out on folk that charge at night and use on battery during the day. We're not to the point you can go on battery power like that.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
