New Drive 1TB size

by K9er / July 27, 2009 8:08 AM PDT

I just purchased and installed a new PureDrive Model 761. 1 TB in size
It does not show up on the My Computer section where my other drives are. I get no indication that it's working except a box on the toolbar that says it may work faster if connected to a different USB port. I did that but no difference etc. Suggestions please. I use XP.

Hi R,
First, thank you. I did as you suggested but it was not listed. I went back to MY Computer a few minutes later and it was there? BUT I noticed that my computer freezes now if the new drive is turned on, nothing seems to work unless I turn it off! What's up with that?

Could be an AUTORUN FILE on that drive.
