New connection don't work after reboot

Jan 28, 2008 3:13AM PST

Hi all
I am running windows xp and I run the new connection wizard to connect to the internet using my modem. After the wizard is done it makes a icon on my desktop and when I click on the icon it connects to the internet with no problem. But after I reboot the Icon is still there but nothing happens when I click on it and nothing pops up. So I run the wizard again like I did before and it works fine till I reboot. Can anyone HELP Thanks Germansal

I do connect to the internet without any problems until I reboot. Then when I hit the Icon I made to connect with the connection wizard. Nothing happens. To me it sounds like a windows problem. If anyone needs anymore info on the problem please let me know Germansal

Ask the ISP how to set up the connection without that wizard.

Everything is setup correctly. The problem is after reboot the connect icon does not respond.

(NT) To prove this, create a connection without the wizard.
