New computer, some old games won't work but the newer ones

by Krystabella / August 22, 2006 3:22 PM PDT

My computer specs are: Windows XP Prof SP2, Asrock K7S41 Motherboard with AMD Athlon XP 2800+,NVIDIA Ge Force FX 5500, 1Gb Ram

I can run Age of Empires 3,Cultures,Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 and 3,Sims and Sims 2,Theme Park world but I can't run Neighbours From Hell, Age of Empires 2 or Empire Earth.
With Neighbours From Hell all I get is a spinning disc and with Empire Earth after the opening video I get a black screen.
With Age of Empires 2 after the opening video I get a black screen and if you bring up task manager it is blue and pink and basically the computer needs a restart.
These games are working on two other PCs.
If anyone can help I'd be very happy?

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
