New Computer Problems

Mar 7, 2004 11:42AM PST

I just bought a Sony PCV-RZ56G. The problem I'm having is sometimes when I hit the power button to turn on the computer, it starts up but doesn't boot up. If I depress the F2 key at the same time, it will. I took it back to the place I got it and it worked fine for them. Brought it home and the same problem ensued. Is it my house wiring or something else? Help!

It's new, it's under warranty, demand a replacement! If you don't, the problem could become worse later on and then you'll be stuck with it, and mad at yourself for not getting a replacement when you could have done that.

Just my opinion.
