I see a floppy drive. No new machine I own has one and good riddance. But for the rare occasion I use an USB floppy drive. And given I used it 5 times in just one week over the past year maybe I should have ignored it.
Last month I opted for (USD here) refurb HP d4999t (quad core with VTx), added some ram from the old machine, installed Windows 7 Pro and used my old monitor. I did get a newer 1GB Nvidia GT 220 which seems to do fine on games.
That's less than half your budget and plenty of bang.
Bob
Im looking to make a new gaming PC.
I havnt made a new pc in about 4 years, so ive been out of the loop for awhile. After alot of research I came up with this:
Budget $1500CAD

Just wondering if im getting as much bang for my buck as i can and if there are any changes i should consider.
Thanks!
