Question

New Canon 7D camera

Nov 30, 2014 10:02PM PST

in the box from Abes of Main. Body only. Is this to good to be true. Some have said I should be skeptical of a price this low. I can get a used one with 28k pictures taken for 565 but that does not seem like a good deal if a new one is 739

It appears that $739 is a Cyber Monday sale item.

The best price I could find from a Canon Dealer was $999.
So I would question if Abes of Maine is a Canon Dealer.
If they are not a dealer then the camera could be an import (gray market).
A gray market item could be a warranty problem.

If you are not familiar with Abes of Maine, you can find reviews of the company by doing a Google search on
"abes of maine review"
