New Camera

I'm looking for a new camera and I was hoping someone on this forum could offer some good advice. I'm looking for something 5MP or above. I want it to be small enough to easily fit in my pocket and have decent zoom capabilities. I don't really need anything super amazing since this would just be for use when I'm out and about. It could even be a model that is a year or so old. Any advice on something that fits my criteria and is well-priced?

A520

In reply to: New Camera

I like canon alot, they seem easy to use for me but still give advanced controls when you learn or want to get into that.

I have a newer A540 but just got an older A520 and i find its better. There are more modes on the dial, its a little less MP then what your wanting. 4mp but i think it can keep up wth the best of them out now.

The screen is better on the 520 then the 540 and it has sports mode plus a few others.

You can pickup a pack of rechargables with a charger for under $20. and be set for a while on batteries. Its fairly small but still has decent zoom 4X optical and a decent flash. You cant go wrong with that one.
