Is the same product as spywarebomb, some antiviruses class

it as Adware and some rogueware.

It deliberatley gives exagerated reports of threats and popups, is installed by trojans in a similar way to the Zlob trojan, and is promoted by spammers throughout security forums, usually a spammer uses an alias to report a problem then another alias to recommend it , then uses the original alias to tell everyone how excellent it was and provide links to it, somewhat similar to what you've done here... http://forum.sysinternals.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=11371&PID=51464#51464

If you have used this I would recommend to scan your system with some legitimate product such as superantispyware.
