Call your CC and dispute the charge. Once they have your money I find all companies to be sluggish to non responsive to correct. This is why I deal with my CC first.
It's been so long, they don't have a leg to stand on.
I initially bought Samsung S8 in July 2017 which is my first Android phone ever (Trade-in with my iphone 5) I was happy to use it, although the battery isn't great but I like the camera and other things with S8.
After 8 months, in January 2017 I received a email stating that Samsung is charging my credit card with 125$ as I returned a wrong phone in the trade-in plan with a different Order number compared to the one that I initially brought.
First of all, I thought that it was a mistake and I have contacted the Samung customer care. They said they have opened a ticket to investigate on this issue. I was waiting for couple of weeks but still see no response.
So I have contacted them again and they said they will escalate this to the "Data Warehouse" team for a image of the the phone that I sent. I was like, okay I can wait.. (I am sure that I returned the right phone - iphone 5)
Although they have asked me to wait for 5 business days, I have waited for another 1 month and contacted them again, and all I heard is the same response "We will escalate this ticket and we will contact you as soon as we receive an update".
I have been calling them multiple time in the last 5 months and tired of hearing the same response.
I called them today again to check on a update and person who answered the call in E-Commerce department (Sheriff), said the same answer again to wait for another 5 business days. Tired and pissed, I have requested him to transfer the call to on-call shift Manager.
After waiting for 35-40 mins, Sheriff said he will transfer the call but he hung up and I received a automated survey to rate the call.
***....First of all I am pissed as they charged me 125$. Mistakes happen, so I have contacted them and waited for 5 months to hear a response. That is terrible.
Second, all they say is they will be happy to help but all they do is NOTHING!!
After waiting for 40 mins to speak to Manager, they hung up and waited for sometime before posting this assuming they would call me back, but they dint.
NEVER WILL I USE SAMSUNG AGAIN!
