Never Mind ... Noobs should read this post

Oct 28, 2006 10:57PM PDT

I recently posted a question in another thread about a setup issue with my system. After reading a number of other posts in regards to various subjects about Home Theater, it became obvious that I overlooked something in a setup menu. It appears that a number of us that are new to this are too quick to ask for help instead of studying the manuals and figuring it out outselves. My apologies for taking up space with a question that I should have answered myself. A suggestion to neophytes in the home audio/video segment: STUDY THE MANUAL and then experiment with settings until you figure it out.

Sorry, but Father Murray would have kept you after class (no he wasn't a pedophile) to write "differently" on the blackboard (when I was in school blackboards were black and not green) 500 times!

LOTS OF TIMES WE COME HOME FROM A/V STORE........
So excited, we tend to put off reading the manual.
Don't feel bad, just better educated.

Best wishes, river.
