network/wifi speakers

I want to use my old Bose Wave Music System (radio and cd player) speakers as wifi speakers for my Dell Windows 7 Pro pc. Will my Verizon Fios router act as a wifi transmitter and I just need to buy a wifi reciever ( connected to the Bose via the AUX in jack) or do I need to buy a transmitter too. Thanks

Remember there is some audio delay over any wireless.
