I assume you remembered to turn off firewall(s) temporarily while trying to connect the affected computers.
I'm having trouble home networking my desktop PC (Windows XP SP3), which is connected to my WiFi router (Linksys WRT54G) via ethernet cable and NIC, and my laptop (Windows XP SP3) which uses the wireless feature of my router. Both computers access the internet through the router, which is connected to a broadband cable modem.
All I would like to do is share files between these computers, but I cannot see or access either computer from the other's "Network Places" page. I have run both Wireless Network Wizard and Home and Small Office Network Wizard with no result.
Can anyone give me step-by-step instructions for fixing this problem?
