100 meters is at the edge of WiFi and the need for plug and play means you won't consider building one such as we see at http://hak5.org/episodes/hak5-1515
So given what you wrote, why not make peace with them and start work on a project to get it working?
Hi all! New to forum. I know enough to get by in the maze of computers, but an issue has arisen that I'm struggling to find an answer to. I am based in a commercial building as part of an outsourced facilities team and our company has their own network which is basically an adsl line into a draytek vigor v2830n router. The company computer our team uses was connected to the draytek via cat 5, but the client has deposed us from the area we occupied within the main building to an outbuilding and I'm struggling to get a cat 5 cable to the router. Is there an acceptable "plug and play" wifi solution that would not require me to change router settings or have administrator privileges on the pc? The router is based in an internal office which is approx 100m away from the outbuilding. All assistance appreciated
