Networking Problem

Sep 1, 2005 5:54AM PDT

I'm trying to network my new laptop. I followed the networking steps. However, on the laptop when I click 'view networking computers' an error appears saying I may have been denied access. On my desktop, I can see that the laptop is networked, but I cannot access it or its shared files. Any help would be appreciated.

you didn't do it quite right or it would have worked. All I can tell with the information you did provide is: do it right. I (or somebody else) could even point you to the instructions, but as already have them available in some form that wouldn't be real help either.

Tell more on what you did exactly. Step by step. Detailed. Somebody might catch the error or omission.

Hope this helps.
