You would have to know where the other end of the line is and then connect that to the router.
Just because there are ports, doesn't mean the other end is installed correctly.
I just moved into my apartment, and I have just gotten google fiber. My apartment was already equipped with eithernet ports located all around the apartment (cat5) but every time I go to put an Ethernet cable inside the port in the wall nothing happens and I get no internet through it. Does anyone know what I can do to be able to use my new Internet?
