NETWORKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sep 8, 2005 11:07AM PDT

Guys, can you tell me the steps and procedures to create a small home network? Because I try to create one and my head is going to pop-out. My hardwares and softwares are notebook with Windows XP Professional, desktop with Windows XP Home Edition, DI-524, and Motorola Surfboard cable modem SB5210. Thanks in advance.

I followed the instruction on the weekend project. Then, I clicked the network places and I couldn't find it. I tried that over and over again until I got mad. So I turned off all hardwares and went to sleep. And now (as I'm typing) I checked the network places and there you go, I already have a network. I think one thing missing in my procedure is restarting the modem and the router. Thanks for replying guys, i appreaciate it.
