trying to enable WEP/WPA security settings. I will leave them turned off and only enable MAC Filtering to block unwanted access. This along with changing the SSID and password for the router is usually more then enough in a home network.
alright so first off i would like to say I finally got me and my sister's computers networked so we can share a printer and share files.
lol so congrats to me. anyway I was looking about the networking stuff on the computer and I went to Wireless Network Connection, theres a tray icon where I clicked at.
It says I'm connected to the default wireless network.
But my problem is it says Unsecured wireless network. I don't want it to be unsecured and I was wondering what I can do about that.
Windows XP Service Pack 2
and my sister's computer is
Windows 98 SE
Her computer is where the Dlink Router and Cable Modem are just FYI information. I am wirelessly connected with a dlink airplus G wireless PCI adapter.
Thanks in advance
