Hello,

I have 1 desktop and 3 labtops, I want to setup a home network. so everyone can share each other's file.

the Desktop is connected from the Linksys router using RJ45 cable, while the 3 laptops are connected from the same router's wireless signel.

4 computers are running WindowXP sp2. the router's model is: linksys, WRT54G

Thanks

open network connections and select set up a home or small business network. Follow the wizard instructions for each computer. Be sure to have the same workgroup name, share something on each computer and configure the firewall to allow the network through.
